The White Hart Hotel, Modbury

This hotel is a gem! The rooms were clean and comfy, the staff super friendly, and the location is fantastic near the South Devon coast and Dartmoor National Park. The dining experience was nice though with limited options. It's a great value for money!

My stay at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for accommodating both my family and our furry companions. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our stay. The location was convenient for exploring both the stunning Devon coastline and Dartmoor National Park, although some passing traffic noise was noticeable with the window open. While the dining experience was enjoyable with fresh, home-cooked meals, the wait times were a bit longer than expected. Despite that, the hotel offered great value for money with its good breakfast options, friendly staff, and central location.

However, some areas, especially leading to the bedrooms, seem a bit worn out and in need of refurbishment. The location is convenient, close to the picturesque South Devon coast and surrounded by the beautiful sights of Dartmoor National Park, but the noise from passing traffic can be noticeable with the window open. The dining experience is top-notch, with flavorful options and accommodating staff. The hotel facilities are well-maintained and contribute to an enjoyable stay.
